Amaryllo launches Purity Bluetooth GPS receiver in Europe

Dutch brand Amaryllo just introduced Purity, a bluetooth GPS receiver with nice solid look and good specification for daily use. This black sporty gadget measure a 3.39- x 1.73- x 0.52-inch enclosure and weighing 2.08 ounces


The matte-finished device is best for connecting with PDAs, smartphones, and other GPS-lovin’ gadgets, and receives its intel via the SiRF Star III LP chipset. It can track up to 20 satellites at once. The SiRFstar III LP is the newest version of the highly popular SiRFstar III chipset but has a much lower power consumption than its predecessor.  The lab shows that the unit can run for 15 hours on a single charge and also ship with a car charger, AC adapter, rubber anti-slip stickers, and a silicon protections sleeve.  It costs about 90 Euros and available in January 2007.
