Samsung L74: Entry-level digital camera

To all Samsung fans out there, here’s another digital camera from the Korean company. Unlike the NV11 that is targeted to the advanced-level users, this new product is an entry-level compact camera that is unique in its own way.

The L74 comes with a respectable 3.6x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens support that takes wider images effortlessly. Frequent globetrotters will love the ‘Tour Guide’ function that offers travel information that covers up to 4,500 regions in 30 countries, making it a valuable companion when you are stuck in an unfamiliar place.

It also features a 3″touch-screen LCD display, video capture capability and an internal memory of 450MB that is capable of storing 200 to 300 shots. Similar to the NV11, the proprietary ASR image stabilization system is also part of the strong feature set. The L74 will be available in North America this coming spring for $349.99.
