2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6800 processor released

According to PC World, Intel is going to roll out a new 2.93GHz Core 2 Extreme QX6800 processor with 8MB memory cache and 1,066MHz front side bus. It’s a boon to hard core gamers who are always on a look out for more power. The new quad core chip also reduce waiting time for high-definition media editing jobs such as video encoding.

As you’ve expected power is always very expensive, so you got to shell out $1,199 for this chip.
