Today iriver officially announced the iriver B20. The player was first revealed at this year’s CES event. Like its predecessor the B10, the B20 is a DMB device. That means it has a built-in antenna capable of receiving television channels wherever DMB TV is supported.
This time around the B20 appears to be a beefier version of the iriver clix. It has a similar design, the same D-click control system system, and a nearly identical GUI. It improves on the clix however, by upping the screen to 2.4″ and adding a miniSD slot.
Specs:
- Capacity: 2 and 4GB
- Display: 2.4″ QVGA (320 x 240, 260K colors)
- Audio: MP3, WMA, and Ogg
- Video: MPEG-4, and WMV9
- DMB and DAB support
- FM tuner/Recorder
- Games and Text Support
- miniSD expansion slot
- Dimensions: 80.9 x 49.5 x 16.3mm
- Available in Black or White
The B10 was only available in Korea, but this time the B20 will be making a world tour. It’ll apparently be showing up in a few other countries including France, UK, and Japan. It’s coming out on April 25th in Korea at prices of 198000 Won and 248000 Won for the 2 and 4GB models. That’s around 213US and 267US respectively.
