Hands-On With Sony’s New Slim PSP 2
The new Sony PSP PSP-2000 will be releasing in Sept but Wired has already have a feel of how the new PSP look like beside physically it is 33% lighter (weighing only 189 grams) and 19% thinner (measuring 18.6mm thick) than the orginal PSP.
PSP 2 is much brighter yet not glaring and it makes playing games more realistic. It comes with Black, white and silver in color. The main UMD loading has significantly improved with the UMD door opens at a wider angle, making loading a bit easier. The PSP 2 also enable you to hook up your PSP to a TV, the component cables are sold seperately but no finalized price or release date for the cables yet. The price of the new PSP will be at $170 which is the same price as the current model PSP.
