O2 Cocoon presents HSDPA handset
O2 Cocoon is expected to be release in the UK in August. O2 has launched a dedicated site for O2 Cocoon. The O2 Cocoon earns its name through its all-white and rounded shell which hides extra features.
O2 Cocoon has 2GB of onboard memory (expandable via the MicroSD slot) and the battery should provide up to 15 hours of music playback, a 2.1-inch QVGA display, 2MP auto-focus camera, Bluetooth and an RDS-compatible FM radio tuner. Another clever feature with the O2 Cocoon is a device called the “nest”. Really, it’s just a docking station with an inbuilt charger, but it turns the Cocoon into a sort of desktop MP3 player/radio/alarm clock. The O2 Cocoon is expected to be available for as low as £129 (with service contract).
