Elektrobit is a Mobile Internet Multimedia Device (MIMD) that comes with a TFT LCD of 4.8″ and a complete slidable qwerty keyboard undernath which can almost fits in the palm of the hand.
Powered by Linux, the boot time seems almost instantaneous and on top of that, it is based on Intel’s Menlow which a fast and energy efficient chip specially designed for multimedia applications. The wireless comes with the Wi-Fi chip and the Bluetooth and possible WIMAX and HSDPA networks in the future. The UMPC also sports a 3.2MP camera, integrated GPS with navigator and microSD card. Price and availability is unknown yet.
