Eikon Digital Privacy Manager - Fingerprint Reader for Macs

Eikon Digital Privacy Manager is a USB fingerprint reader that recently released to support Mac. Back in June, we have reviewed the device that only worked with PCs but this version is now compatible with MacOS 10.4 Tiger.

Besides the normal password protection mode to some applications and folders, the second security layer is the fingerprint reader. There are 5 other security features on the Eikon Manager made by UPEK:

• Logon at startup,
• Unlock keychain,
• Unlock secure preferences at admin-level settings,
• Unlock file vault to decrypt home folders
• Unlock the screen saver all with the swipe of a finger
