LG’s 52-inch LCD TV set with Wi-Fi HD streaming

LG 52LG71 is the latest 52-inches HDTV which claimed by LG its first to supply a full HD picture while also including Wi-Fi. The 52LG71 will present a 1080p picture like most competing 52-inch sets but incorporates an 802.11 link that pulls HD over a local wireless network.

The viewers will not need a separate media hub or an extender to watch their home content according to LG. Few other details are available for the set, though the screen is likely to incorporate a blur-free 120Hz panel and other technologies that represent the best of LG’s technology. No word on what version of the 802.11 standard this TV will be using. Pricing and availability is also not known yet.
