Blackberry 9000

 

Blackberry 9000 rumours have been flowing around for some time, there are details that yet to be confirmed as final specifications. The BlackBerry 9000 will come with 480 x 320 and a 2 megapixels camera which supports dual-threat of GPS and WiFi as well as introducing 3G support (multi-band HSDPA) to the GSM carrier family devices.

It will be powered by an Intel XScale PXA270 processor at 624MHz, clocking in slightly faster than the 620MHz ARM 1173 processor found in the iPhone. Word on the street also has it that RIM is currently hoping to integrated a Backup/Restore function that allows users to backup everything onto an on-board memory card. There’s no pricing or availability information for this device. It is expected to have this release by Q1 - Q2 2008.
