Xbox 360 Dashboard update adds DivX and Xvid support
Microsoft Xbox 360 Dashboard update on Dec 4 will now include DivX and Xvid playback. This will enable users to download AVIs to play back their content via the console.
Others included in the system update will be social networking features plus new Game Store and Video Store download areas.
There will be a limited number of original Xbox titles that will be available for download, priced at 1,200 Microsoft points each. Titles will include Halo, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex and Fable.
