Panasonic Unveils PX80 plasma series

Panasonic has announced their new PX80 series of Plasma screens which consists of 50in, 42in and 37in models and all new panels along with improved contrast ratios. The PX80 line from Panasonic features an improved native contrast resolution of 15,000:1, an SD memory card slot, Game Mode, VIERA Linkā„¢ along with 3 HDMI inputs.

Panasonic PX80 series will replace PX70 range, and as an entry level offering will retain the 720p, 1024 x 768 resolution of the outgoing screens. It also comes with an extra HDMI input and improved sonic abilities, the TH-42PX70 has already been upgraded to the TH-42PX700. The PX80 plasma range will be on sale in Japan this month but no price has been announced yet.
