Samsung Unveils SGH-i200 Windows Mobile Smartphone

Samsung SGH-i200 is being showcased at the World Mobile Congress although it has not yet announced. It will be likely this noon on Samsung’s press conference during the show. Samsung is expected to officially launch the Samsung SGH-i200 Windows Mobile Standard smartphone.
As an entry-level smartphone, Samsung i200 features Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as singleband UMTS/HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. Because of its target group, WiFi is left, unfortunately. The non-touchscreen measures 2.3″ and supports QVGA and the CMOS main camera on the back supports 2.0 megapixel. The keypad is a traditional 12-keys phonepad rather than a QWERTY keyboard as used for the SGH-i600 and BlackJack II. The device measures 116.7 x 50.8 x 11.8 mm and according to Samsung, it should be available anytime in the first half of 2008. No price is available yet.
