Patriot unveils 1800MHz DDR3 memory kit

Patriot Memory has unveiled a new 1800MHz model to its Viper DDR3 memory lineup. This new 2GB DDR3 low latency kit works at 1800MHz with 8-8-8-20 latencies.


The specification includes 1800MHz clock, 8-8-8-20 latencies, and all this at 1.9V. This kit will use two 1GB modules, and according to the press release it will be ideal for PC gamers who use Intel’s P35, X38 or X48 chipsets. This kit supports Intel’s Extreme Memory Profile, or shortly XMP, which means that when plugged into Intel’s chipset it automatically detects SPD settings.

This memory is cooled by Patriot’s Viper Heat Shields with integrated ACC (Aluminum Copper Composite) technology and it comes with a lifetime warranty.
