Polaroid i535 Digital Camera

Polaroid launched its new digital camera called i535, which is aimed at starters to digital photography. The i535 boasts a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, and 3X optical zoom as well as a fixed 2.36-inch display.

The i535 sports 32MB of internal memory, while an SD/HC card slot allows for memory expansion. Video can be recorded in a maximum resolution of 640×480 pixels in motion JPEG format. A carrying case and flexible mini tripod are included, delivering a relatively complete package for beginners.

The camera gets power from two included alkaline AA batteries. The ISO settings are relatively limited, at 50, 100 or 200. A macro mode allows shooting objects about 2 inches away.

The Polaroid i535 is expected to hit Japan in mid April with a suggested price of $100.
