MSI Reveals Wind notebook details

MSI has revealed some details about its upcoming Wind notebook series which will compete with low-cost PCs like the Asus Eee PC.


MSI Wind notebook will be running Windows XP with 8.9″ and 10″ widescreen LCD displays with LED-backlights and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The MSI Wind notebook weighs about 1 kilogram and unlike the Eee PC it doesn’t have a small SSD drive but a 2.5″ 80GB HDD. It also sports 1.3 megapixel webcam and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. MSI said the notebook features an ergonomic keyboard with “great texture” and 17.5mm space between the keys to make it just as good as larger notebooks.
