Logitech V450 Nano is the lastes mouse for notebooks that was announced by Logitech. The mouse uses a laser sensor which enjoys smoother cursor control on virtually any surface and it outperforms ordinary optical mice.
Like other Nanos wireless mouse, it operates with a tiny 2.4GHz receiver that plugs into a notebook’s USB 2.0 port. This receiver can also be stored inside the mouse, in order to prevent it from being knocked out of a notebook during travel. Controls include left and right buttons plus a scrollwheel.
As a notebook mouse the 450 is powered by AA batteries, which should last approximately a year on a single charge. It supports both Macs and PCs, with the former running on Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher and the latter requiring Windows XP or Vista. It should ship to the US later this month at a price of $50.
