WD Now Shipping 2.5 ” 7200RPM Scorpio HDD
Western Digital is now shipping its new line of WD Scorpio Black 7,200rpm 2.5-inch SATA 3Gb/s interface and 16 MB cache to deliver maximum notebook performance. The drives are available in capacities from 80GB to 320GB.
The Scorpio Black Series features IntelliSeek, SecurePark, ShockGuard, and WhisperDrive technologies, as well as a free-fall sensor in select models. MSRP for the WD Scorpio Black hard drives are up to $249.00, depending on capacity and features.
