3G iPhone launch date fixed with ”push” e-mail Software



3G iPhone was announced by Steve Jobs at the WWDC 08 and The iPhone 3G will sell for $199 (8GB) starting July 11th and comes in white and black for the 16GB version ($299) However, 8GB iPhone 3G is only available in black.


The 3G iPhone comes with a 3.5 inch touch-screen, HSDPA, Wifi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, new Apple App Store, Maps, up to 5 hours talktime on 3G, up to 10 hours on 2G and 300 hours stand-by. A “Mobile Me” to allow users to have e-mail and calendar items sent automatically to the device. The measurements of the iPhone 3G are 4.5 by 2.4 by 0.48 inches (115.5 by 62.1 by 12.3 mm) and the weight is 4.7 ounces (133 grams).

iPhone 3G will be available will be available in 22 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US, on July 11.
