New Environmental-Friendly Actiontec DSL Modem
Actiontec unveiled a new environmental-friendly DSL modem called the Actiontec GT701D. The Actiontec GT701D is a USB/Ethernet DSL modem with routing capabilities. It has an Energy Star rated power adapter, signifying that it uses at lest 30% less energy than others non-green modems.
Other environmentally focused features include recycled packaging and less energy reportedly consumed during production. Other features of the Actiontec GT701D include ADSL2/2+, two networking ports and increased available bandwidth. There is no word on availability and pricing.
