MacBook Air SSD Price drop
The price of the MacBook Air with SSD has dropped by $500 this month. The price for the MacBook air with 64GB SSD was an horendous US $3,098 originally and is now down at US$2,598.
This got to do with the dropping price of SSD and new market player introducing new SSD such as OCZ’s new 2.5 inch SSD SATA II devices in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes with unseen low prices. The OCZ Core SSD have MSRPs of $169, $259 and $479 respectively. However, the price of the MacBook Air with 80GB HDD did not change.
