Samsung X360 Ultra-light Notebook

Samsung launched an ultalight X360 notebook. It is described as “lighter than air”, featuring 13.3-inch screen and weighs only 2.8 pounds. The X360 notebook uses an ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo processor which sacrifices performance in return for smaller and longer battery life between six to 10 hours.
The Samsung X360 has a thickness ranging between 0.66-inch and 1.2-inch. It features an Ethernet, an ExpressCard/34 slot, multi-format card reader, three USB ports, HDMI and VGA out, fingerprint reader and 802.11n Wireless. It also has an option for 3G cellular and WiMAX data before the end of 2008.
Samsung offers solid-state drives for storage. The basic system model is expected to be around 1500 Euro ($2,213) with a 64GB flash drive. Higher-priced models can go as high as 2000 Euros ($2,951) with a 128GB drive. Samsung releases the notebook worldwide in October.
