LG KC780 Slider Phone with 8-megapixels camera

LG unveiled its KC780 slim slider phone with a built-in 8-megapixel camera and 2.4-inch widescreen LCD. The KC780 includes a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, which enhances clarity and sharpness of images. The camera also includes the face and smile detection features.
In addition to the photo features, the KC780 offers an image stabilizer, and the ability to take DVD-quality video. Users can also operate the camera over a Bluetooth connection with a computer to use as a web cam, and use Bluetooth to send and receive text messages through a computer as well. An integrated motion sensor also functions with games for the phone.

The KC780 is a quad-band GSM phone. LG currently only has plans to release it in Europe this November, with the CIS and Asia to follow thereafter. No plans have been revealed for a North American launch.
