Creative announced in Japan its ZEN MX – a stripped down version of the original ZEN. The ZEN MX removes support for AAC audio files, leaving with just MP3 and WMA. It also only play videos in .CMV format.
The Creative ZEN MX allows you to transfer songs to your library which you can access from in the “Music” menu via “Imported Music”. The 8GB model will retail in Japan for 9,800 Yen ($91), and the 16GB for 13,800 Yen ($143).
