Samsung B7610 Louvre smartphone has recently received unofficial specs ahead of an upcoming release. It will sport a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen with 800×480 resolution and access to HSDPA 3G networks, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and assisted GPS functionality.
Instead of the previously expected 3.2-megapixel camera, there is a 5-megapixel flash-less shooter, and Samsung has switched from its proprietary port to a miniUSB connection.
The quad-band GSM handset will have 1GB of integrated memory and a microSDHC slot. The TouchWiz interface will control Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which will be upgradeable to WM 6.5. An FM radio with RDS is built-in, as is an accelerometer for changing the screen orientation. A 1,500mAh lithium-ion battery will power the device.
Samsung Louvre is expected to be released in July in the UK, Sept for US. Subsidized pricing estimations for the handset are between $350 and $700.
