iLuv iMM183 is now shipping, the clock radio can charge and play two iPhones or iPods but is unique in its addition of NOAA weather radio that can provide alerts with text when a storm or another imminent threat is close to the radio’s location. It handles 10 pre-programmed channels and will archive 10 alert messages for those who miss messages when they appear.
Outside of this, the new iLuv system can wake to mostdockable Apple devices from the original iPod mini and fourth-generation iPod up to and including the iPhone 3GS or new iPod touch; it can also wake to the FM radio or a buzzer. iPhones and iPods that support it can sync their time with the iMM183, and as with most devices in the class an aux-in jack takes in audio from any 3.5mm source. iLuv iMM183 is priced at $150.
