LG Korea Announces Their First Wireless Full HD LCD TV


LG’s LH 80 Series LCD TVs which is available in 42”, 47” and 55” are released and available for purchase in Korea featuring LG’s first Full HD wireless technology. The LCD panel shows video wirelessly thanks to a newly developed “Media Box” that also includes the LCD TV tuner, HDMI HUB… and a USB port to access JPEG and DIVX video stored on a USB HDD or thumb key.

Eizo Unveils pair of new color-accurate FlexScan LCDs



Eizo has unveiled two 22-inch displays that overcome normal color limits. Both the 1680×1050 FlexScan S2232W-E and the 1920×1200 S2242W-H have new, wide color gamut panels that cover 95 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and 92 percent of the NTSC space, suiting them to editing still and moving images versus the low-color panels that often define 22-inch displays.

Flexible 125-inch Plasma Display Coming in 2009

Shinoda, a Japanese display company, is starting to produce its 3-meter wide flexible plasma display, and expects to appear in 2009. The 125-inch display is made using a proprietary plasma array technology developed by the company, with the first screens aimed at public display applications. A prototype has been displayed at the FPD International exhibition in Japan on last Wednesday.
