It looks like Google have chosen LG once again to make their upcoming next-generation Nexus smartphone. The Korea Times’ sources have said that Google founder Larry Page met with LG CEO Koo Bon-joon recently, discussing ways to improve their relationship.

Mystery LG ‘phablet’ appears on internet


An LG ‘phabet’ has appeared on internet. The device looks similar to the 5.5-inch LG Optimus G Pro however, it is possible that it features a slightly larger display edge-to-edge display as it omits the home button found at the bottom of the Optimus G Pro. It also seems to omit physical buttons on the sides of the device as well.

Samsung Unveils Galaxy Mega 5.8, 6.3


Samsung has officially announce Galaxy Mega 5.8 and 6.3. The new ‘phablets’ screen size are bigger than Galaxy Note 2 but does not offers a stylus input. The new Mega range omit quad-core CPUs for dual-core chips and forgo high-resolution OLED displays for lower resolution TFT LCD displays. However, each also incorporates the ‘Air View’ feature that will debut on the new Galaxy S 4, and will run a number of software tweaks also featured on the new flagship handset.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Benchmarks: Twice as fast as iPhone 5

Samsung latest Galaxy S4 handset has blown out its competitors on the recent tests conducted using Geekbench tool. The Galaxy S4′s score of 3,163 was a large fraction higher than that of its closest perceived rival, the HTC One, which scored 2,687. LG’s Nexus 4 was next on the list with a score of 2,040, ahead of the quad-core Galaxy S III, which managed 1,717.
