Pioneer Unveils New Digital Speaker Systems for iPod

After debuting in the iPod speaker category last year with the XW-NAS5 and XW-NAS3 systems, this summer we broaden our offerings with three new multifunctional iPod speaker systems that unite refreshing design and innovative features.
The XW-NAC3 and XW-NAC1 iPod speaker systems will be available as from June 2010, followed by the XW-NAV1 in July.
The youthful-looking XW-NAC3 and XW-NAC1 come equipped with docking stations for two iPods or iPhones at once, featuring a “SHUFFLE2†function for mixed playback from both docked devices. The third new model in the line-up, the stylishly designed XW-NAV1 AV system, opens up a world of entertainment options.

Pioneer has released four new home theater receivers to its flagship Elite lineup, including the top-rung SC-27 and SC-25, as well as lower-end VSX-21TXH and VSX-23TXH. All four have a customized USB/composite cable that allow users to integrate their iPhones and iPods into their home theater audio systems. Once connected, the Apple devices can be controlled via the systems’ remote controls, and their content sent to 2nd and 3rd zones setup in the home. The SC-series units are meant to reproduce uncompressed Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks found in movies recorded on Blu-ray Discs. Both have a Direct Energy HD Class D amp based on ICEpower.
Pioneer has announced that it is now shipping A/V Receivers that seamlessly integrate Apple’s revolutionary iPhone and iPod into a customer’s home theater. Pioneer’s VSX-819AH, VSX-919AH and VSX-1019AH A/V Receivers and also feature proprietary technologies designed to restore compressed audio data and recreate the dynamic listening experiences intended by the original musician.
